This Ema shows the first meeting of Sarutahiko no O Kami and Ame no Uzume no Mikoto during Ninigi no Mikoto’s epic journey from the High Plain of Heaven, down to Earth.

If you have a special request, prayer, or message of gratitude, write your message for the Kami on the Ema and put it up at the shrine, or at home at your sacred space.

Duration: Ema are put up for one year, after which the Kami have received your message. The old Ema are ritually burnt in January to symbolically separate you from your concerns and give you a fresh start for the year.
