KUMO CLOUD PAPER
CLOUD OFUDA SHIELD FOR MULTI-STORY BUILDINGS
The Kumo Cloud Paper is used to shield your Ofuda or Kamidana if your sacred items are not on the top floor of your building.
In Shinto tradition nothing should be above the Kami, Ofuda or Kamidana except the sky. However with modern living in multi-story buildings it isn’t always possible to have the Ofuda or Kamidana on the top floor. A traditional solution to this problem is to use a Kumo Cloud Paper to install the sky at a new location. The Kumo Cloud Paper represents the sky and prevents desecration of your sacred space by shielding against the influence of anyone walking above.
This Kumo Cloud Paper is 15cm x 17cm and made of high quality paper and has been printed in Japan.
Installation:
- Please use tape or glue to stick the Kumo Cloud Paper to ceiling directly above your Ofuda or Kamidana.
- Do not use pins or nails to put up the Kumo Cloud Paper because piercing will deactivate its protection.
- You do not need this paper if your Ofuda or Kamidana are on the top floor of the building, or in a single story building.
- Please replace the Kumo Cloud Paper if you notice it becoming discolored or dirty.
