The movement for global peace was founded in 1955 by Masahisa Goi. He believed that words, thoughts and intentions carry energy strong enough to influence the destiny of all living things. He asked that people throughout the world join in the movement for world peace through prayer, May Peace Prevail on Earth.
There are more than 200,000 Peace Poles “planted” around the earth, in over 190 countries.
We invite you to recite the simple prayer for peace:
May peace prevail on Earth.
May peace be in our homes and countries.
May our missions be accomplished.
世界人類が平和でありますように、
私達の天命が完うされますように、

Sekai jinrui ga heiwa de arimasu yō ni,
