Hello Meditators,
We are delighted to offer an opportunity for you to cultivate your meditation practice with teachings on “View and Conduct” presented by Lama Rabten. These essential teachings are a profound source of support in developing a meditation practice and facing uncertainty and division in daily life. With the challenges rising in many areas of life we require understanding in “View and Conduct”. It is with mindful exploration of these key teachings that we recognize the source and wisdom of interconnectedness that creates a peaceful and meaningful life and community.
In developing our understanding of the “View” we will consider the correct way to look at existence. Our happiness and the happiness of others around us depend on our integration of this view. Touching reality deeply, knowing what is going on inside and outside ourselves is a way to liberate our minds and hearts.”Conduct” is simply to do everything with mindfulness. Gentleness and compassion are the essential elements of mindfulness. In this place we respect precious life, extend freely and generously to others and conduct ourselves with integrity and peaceful presence. These key teachings are themes all of us seek to understand in order to connect to our true nature or Buddha nature. In listening, contemplation and meditation we have the opportunity to more fully understand and embody these elements with greater success and happiness.
The good fortune to experience the Shin Mei Spiritual Centre enriched by Lama Rabten’s teachings is truly a wonderful opportunity. If you feel inspired to join us it would be an honor to have you attend.
