GOHEI WAND

The Gohei (Shide wand) brings the protective power and blessings of Sarutahiko no O Kami to your home, office, dojo, or dorm room.

This Gohei is intended to provides protection in all directions. Tsubaki Daimyojin (Great Bright Being) Okitama Sarutahiko no O Kami purifies and protects heaven, earth, human beings, the four corners and the eight directions.

Sarutahiko Okami, enshrined at the oldest Tsubaki Grand Shrine in Japan, has been known since ancient times as the Kami of guidance,  good fortune, and protection from misfortune. Please place this Gohei on the household altar or hang it at the entrance of your home so that you may be inspired by the miraculous power of the great kami’s divine virtue. Use this Gohei to receive his protection, be free from illness, be blessed with good fortune, and be blessed with wealth.

Installation:

• If you have a Kamidana, please place this Gohei next to the Kamidana.
• If you do not have a Kamidana please place this Gohei at the entrance to your home.
• If possible, place it higher than eye-level and facing south or east if possible.

Duration: This Gohei is thought to absorb negative energy so it is traditional to replace it annually.
