Position as Shinto Priest: We are searching for an individual who will help operate and grow Matsuri’s Shinto shrine near Victoria, BC.

The role requires a deep understanding of Shinto and at least three years of post-grad professional work experience. Must be fluent in English. You will be trained as a kannushi (priest) and will be a spiritual leader and caretaker of the shrines.

This person will be responsible for

• Maintaining the sacred spaces
• Conducting rituals
• Organizing weekly and annual events
• Developing membership programs
• Community outreach
• Teaching visitors and community members about Shinto beliefs and practices
