Dear Forest Bather,
Here’s what to expect and what to bring to our upcoming Forest Session:
What to expect:
- We will walk through the forest very slowly and mindfully, experiencing the “forest beings” with our senses. We will be mostly silent, with intermittent optional sharing
- The forest is enjoyable is all types of weather (wind, rain, snow, and sunshine!), so dress accordingly
- Dress a bit warmer than you expect you need. Because we are moving very slowly, you won’t be generating heat from exercise. Layers are good!
What to bring:
- A bottle of water (optional)
- Warm clothing, and rain gear (if weather warrants)
We will have on hand for you:
- Foam pad for sitting (dry and insulating)
- Umbrella (if needed)
- Fleece blanket for extra warmth (if needed)
- Hand warmers (if needed)
- A cup of hot tea at the end of the session
If you have any other questions, just let me know!
And, if you are unable to come, please let us know so the water taxi is not waiting for you.
Kansha,
Ann Evans & Kim Kennedy
